Business solar panels work by using Photovoltaic (PV) cells which are designed to absorb sunlight. Your solar panels will then produce a flow of electricity called Direct Current (DC).
Your business appliances run on Alternating Current (AC), so your inverter then steps in to convert DC into usable AC electricity to power your business. Any excess energy generated and not used by your business, can then be sold back to the grid.
